A city-centre split-level bar and one of Scotland’s leading whisky pubs with a collection of around 750 malts. Listening to staff describe the virtues of various drams is an education. What makes the pub is the impressive gantry and the shelving behind for the whisky. The range is so vast that a ladder is used to access upper shelves. There are Victorian features such as an ornate cornice, ceiling roses and Iron columns holding up the ceiling. The pub serves real ale and lunchtime meals.
